Houston Travel Advisor for Smart, Savvy Couples | Blue Dasher Journeys
A quick hello

I'm Jenn. I plan trips for people who love to travel but do not love the planning.

You know the type, because you might be the type: you have done well, you have time now, and you would rather spend your energy being on the trip than building it in nineteen browser tabs. You want it to be great. You also do not want to waste money on the parts that do not matter.

That is exactly what I do. I take the planning, the second-guessing, and the what-ifs off your plate, and I help you put your money where the trip actually gets better.

Where to spend, where to save

The secret is not spending more. It is spending smart.

I had a couple go big on a beautiful hotel and private transfers, then happily take public transit and skip the tours they did not care about. Another spent three days at a gorgeous Tuscan villa and seven days on an inexpensive group trip they absolutely loved. Same trip, smart calls, no regrets.

That is the whole game: invest where the experience is worth it, keep it easy everywhere else. I help you tell the difference.

The questions people ask before they book

What is this going to cost? — More than you might guess, and probably less than you fear. I tell you what the trip actually costs first, then we right-size it to your comfort level together. No sticker shock games.

Why pay you and the supplier? — Because my fee buys you the calls that save you money, and the safety net for when something goes sideways at 11pm in a country where you do not speak the language.

Do we really need the upgrades, like private transfers? — A client once told me she would just grab a bus from the airport. I suggested transfers anyway. Her words after the trip: "We could communicate with them, they handled our luggage, it was so much easier. I'm so glad I invested in that."

Can I just get a quick quote? — Great trips start with a short conversation, not a number. Twenty minutes tells us both whether we are a fit.

What it is like to work with me

My favorite review is from a first-time cruiser who called herself an over-planner. She said I handled it great. That is the job: you stay curious, I carry the rest.

I really listen. Nothing I build is one-size-fits-all. And I believe a good trip is not about cramming in every activity. It is about being able to sit in a square with a coffee, watch the world go by, and actually be there.

Traveling with your girlfriends?

I love helping a group of friends travel well together, with the logistics and the what-ifs handled.
