Why travel with a large multi generational group?
You can maximize your vacation time! Instead of a "visit-cation" to see your family, ask them to travel with you!
1. Family bonding can happen "on the road".
2. Set the dates as early as possible
3. Candidly discuss a budget and agree who is paying for what. If some want to spurge in some places, share that with everyone so there are no surprises.. Maybe some chose a more modest accommodation and do more activities. Talk often and check in with each other throughout the planning process. Your travel agent can be the point person for each family to coordinate details.
If one party would like to "gift" the other some aspect of the trip, please come to an agreement, and set parameters before discussing with your travel agent.
4. Be willing to find a destination that everyone will enjoy. Ask your travel agent for ideas, and be willing to work around the itinerary to add your "must-sees".
Let's plan a beautiful trip in the US, but in an exotic location, Hawaii! No passports needed. Immerse your family in a tropical jungle, take surfing lessons, attend a Luau with a Hula performance.
