Travel Design Fees and Inclusions (Spring 2026)

These are subject to change and suggested. Each trip is personal and designed to fit your needs, budget and wishes. We will mutually decide on the fee to be paid before research starts.  These are the standard starting points for Blue Dasher Journeys fees.

Just the Airfare (Domestic $75 or International $150)
  • Includes (2) 30-45 min phone call and a written summary of our conversation. 
  •  OR up to 5 email conversation responses to questions 
  • Must be ready to pay for airfare booking within 48 hours. NO fare pricing is guaranteed until ticketed.
  • Includes support with app and flight issues.
  • Travel insurance recommendations with link to purchase directly.
Cruises out of Galveston $65

Includes:

  • Initial consultation by phone or email
  • Proposal with 2-3 options
  • Securing, confirming and managing booking within 7 days of proposal.  Additional charges to re quote
  • Electronic travel documents delivered by email 
  • Support to find your cruise on the app 
  • Support with parking information, excursions choices
  • Upon request:  Travel insurance recommendations with link to purchase directly.

RUSH FEE (less than 60 days) payment due in full at time of booking and an additional $25 to create space for you in my workflow.


Cruise/Airfare and/or Hotel/Airfare inside U.S. booking - $150

Includes:

  • Initial consultation by phone or email
    Proposal with 2-3 options with a vetted supplier with 24 hour in trip assistance (Single destination)
  • Up to 2 rounds of complimentary revisions based on initial feedback.
  • Securing, confirming and managing booking within 2 weeks of initial appointment. Please be ready with your deposit.
  • Pricing on packages (air/hotel/transfer/tours) is presented as total investment. Individual prices are not available as suppliers negotiate exclusive rates that cannot be replicated elsewhere. The additional cost of their service availability before and during your travel is included. 
  • Electronic travel documents delivered by email.
  • Travel insurance recommendations with link to purchase directly. 
  • Multiple destinations or more complex travel designed to suit your needs; please call for pricing.
Itinerary only; Self-booked and Self-managed $250

Airfare/Hotel/Tours/Advice:  up to 1 country 2 cities

Perfect for points users!

Includes:

  • Initial consultation by phone or email
  • Web-based proposal/Itinerary with 2-3 options
  • Up to 3 rounds of complimentary revisions based on initial feedback.
  • Planning for up to 2 destinations (more requires additional design fees)
  • Travel insurance recommendations with link to purchase directly.
  • Self booked, Self managed
  • One pre-departure call or text
  • In trip availability for trouble shooting 

This for DIY Point Users who just want the advice.  


Full Service Itinerary with in country support - $600

Includes:

  • Initial Consultation call
  • Up to 2 initial travel proposals based on your style
    Up to 3 rounds of complimentary revisions based in initial feedback.
  • Securing, confirming and arranging the booking for all agreed upon trip components (hotels, airfare, transit, tours, etc.) using a vetted travel service with 24-hour in trip assistance.  Individual price breakdown is not available as suppliers negotiate exclusive rates for our clients. Included in the pricing is their 24/7 local service made available to you during your travel.
  • Full day itinerary planning for up to 14 days.  Extra cost for more days.
  • Management of all dining and spa reservations
  • Breakdown of all entry requirements for each destination
  • Travel insurance recommendations with link to purchase directly.
  • VIP perks, amenities and exclusive access (where available)
  • Web-based Itinerary with updates as needed.
    Electronic travel documents delivered by email.
  • Pre-departure, access during trip service included.
  • Purely customized itineraries will incur an extra cost due to the extra time and management involved. Call for pricing.
Additional Fees

We understand that things change and plans need to be adjusted.  We will work to adjust what is possible and discuss the cost of these changes.  We always recommend purchasing trip insurance to cover these sorts of events.


Travel occurs within 30 days - $50 in addition to level of service fee

Additional changes or cancellations (requested by client only) - $100

Additional locations or location changes - $100

Change Requests (without known issue or reason) during travel - $50 each change or addition
